Home CCTV prices depend on the number of cameras, resolution and whether you need outdoor night-vision or indoor-only coverage. All prices include camera, NVR, cabling, installation and mobile-app setup.

For a typical Dubai villa the priority areas are the main gate and driveway, front door and side entrances, garden and swimming-pool area, and a wide-angle camera covering the interior hallway. Cameras at the gate capture licence plates; perimeter cameras cover blind spots between buildings; indoor cameras monitor living areas, domestic staff work areas and children's play rooms where parents want visibility.

Standard infrared night vision produces clear black-and-white images in complete darkness, adequate for most home-security purposes. ColorVu technology from Hikvision uses a large-aperture lens and a supplemental white-light LED to produce full-colour night-time images, important when you need to identify clothing colour, vehicle colour or facial features rather than just detect movement. We recommend ColorVu for gate and entrance cameras; standard IR is sufficient for perimeter and garden coverage.

Every home CCTV system we install is configured for secure remote viewing through a mobile app, so you can check live footage from your office, from a hotel abroad or from anywhere with a data connection. Motion alerts push to your phone the moment a camera detects movement, useful for monitoring deliveries, checking on domestic staff during the day or being alerted to someone at the gate at night. We also set strong device passwords and encryption so your footage stays private.

Apartments present different challenges from villas, as most residents cannot run cables through walls without landlord approval, and communal corridors are managed by the building. We install wireless IP cameras that connect over WiFi, covering the apartment entrance, living areas and children's rooms without structural cabling. For owned apartments, wired systems with a compact NVR hidden in a wardrobe or utility cupboard give better reliability and longer storage than cloud-only solutions.
