Every Apple device fails in its own way, and the repair approach should match - an iMac panel swap has nothing in common with a MacBook charging-IC repair. Here is what each repair actually involves at our workshops, including the cases where we will tell you a repair is not worth paying for.

iMac & Mac Desktop Repair

Display, storage, power, logic board

iMac repair starts with the panel, which is bonded shut. It comes off with a cutting wheel and goes back on with a fresh adhesive strip, never re-used tape, and the display is checked for uniformity before it leaves the bench. On 2017 to 2020 27-inch Intel iMacs the Fusion Drive is the usual reason for a slow machine, and swapping it for an SSD is often better money than a new iMac.

Mac mini, Mac Studio and Mac Pro fail differently from laptops. We see power supplies after outages, HDMI and Thunderbolt ports that stopped driving a monitor, and fans packed with fine dust from a fit-out next door. An Apple silicon Mac that will not boot after a failed update can often be revived with a DFU restore from another Mac, which we try before anyone talks about a board. Water damage goes straight to the board-level bench: the board comes out, runs through an ultrasonic bath, and corroded components are replaced under the microscope. We no longer repair iPhones or iPads.

MacBook Repair

MacBook Air and Pro screens, batteries, keyboards and board work have their own page with model-by-model detail: see MacBook repair in Dubai. On Apple silicon the SSD is tied to the logic board, so on board jobs we ask for a backup first where the Mac still starts.

Charging problems on USB-C and MagSafe MacBooks range from compacted debris in the port to a failed charging IC on the board - we diagnose first and quote after, so you never pay for board work when a cleaning would have done. We no longer repair iPads; if yours is damaged, we still buy it.

Apple Repair Across Dubai

Every repair is handled in two real Dubai workshops, not a courier box to an unknown third party. Concord Tower, 10th Floor, Dubai Media City (Dubai Internet City Metro) serves the western business districts, and G 58, IT Center Building, Bur Dubai (BurJuman Metro) covers the older commercial core. Both take walk-ins Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm, with a Friday break from 12 to 2pm.

Do you still repair iPhones and iPads?

No. Since October 2026 our workshops repair Macs only, so we no longer take iPhone or iPad screens, batteries, back glass or board work. We still buy iPhones and iPads, working or damaged: a cracked screen or a weak battery lowers the offer but does not stop the sale. If the device is under Apple warranty or AppleCare+, book the repair with Apple.

How long does an Apple repair take?

Diagnosis at the counter takes 15-30 minutes, and most MacBook batteries are done the same day. iMac and MacBook screens are next-day to two days, depending on whether the panel is in stock. Board-level work takes 5-7 days, and the date goes on the written quote. Walk in at our Dubai Media City or Bur Dubai hubs; there is no pickup or delivery for repairs.

Can you fix water-damaged MacBooks and Macs?

Yes - Azizi Technologies runs a water-damage bench with ultrasonic cleaners and chip-level repair capability. How much can be saved depends on how long the liquid sat on the board, so bring the device in quickly. Cost depends on severity and is quoted after assessment. Critical: do NOT turn on the device - bring it in switched off. Diagnosis is free.

Do you replace MacBook batteries?

Yes. Battery replacement is quoted by model after a free diagnosis. We fit genuine-quality cells with a 1,000-cycle guarantee and a 90-day warranty, and most MacBook batteries are done the same day.

What about iPad repair in Dubai?

Do you use genuine Apple parts?

Two tiers available. (1) Genuine Apple parts: certified, original, full True Tone calibration where the display supports it. Premium pricing. (2) OEM-compatible parts: equivalent quality, sourced from authorised distributors, slightly lower cost. We always show you both options before starting work - you choose. All parts include 90-day warranty regardless of tier.

Can you recover data from a Mac that will not start?

Often, yes. A Mac that boot-loops, will not power on or has a failed board can usually be read once the fault is found, as long as you have the password. Cost depends on the fault and is quoted after assessment, and data recovery runs on a no data, no fee basis. We do NOT bypass Apple ID / Activation Lock - we follow Apple's security policies.

Do you repair all Apple devices or only Macs?
