Most AI disappointment is not the model's fault.

Businesses that are unhappy with AI rarely had a bad model. They had data scattered across four systems and a shared drive, permissions nobody had reviewed in years, and no clearly identified task that was actually worth automating. The tool then gets blamed for failing to overcome all three.

An assessment answers whether these tools will work in your business before you commit to licences for everybody. Sometimes the answer is yes and the first use case is obvious. Sometimes it is that six weeks of data and permissions work has to come first.

AI tools reason over what you already have. If that is disorganised, the output reflects it, and no licence tier fixes that.

  • Whether files are findable by anyone other than the person who created them
  • How much duplication exists, since conflicting versions produce confidently wrong answers
  • Whether your structured data is clean enough for the analysis people expect
  • Retention: how much of what you hold is years old and should not inform anything

Permissions and Governance Gaps

This is the risk half. AI tools inherit access, so existing over-sharing becomes immediately visible.

Office 45, Concord Tower

Our main workshop is Office 45 on the 10th floor of Concord Tower in Dubai Media City, with a second Azizi Technologies office at the IT Center Building in Bur Dubai. The nearest metro to Concord Tower is Dubai Internet City, and there is visitor parking (first 15 minutes free, then paid) if you drive.

No appointment is needed during workshop hours, Mon-Sat 9AM-7PM, Fri break 12-2PM · Sun closed. Remote support runs from both offices, and on-site visits are scheduled from whichever is closer to you.

Where we work on site

Dubai Media City, Internet City, Knowledge Park, Barsha Heights, Bur Dubai, Business Bay, JLT and the wider city from the two offices, with scheduled visits beyond Dubai.

What does an AI readiness assessment actually cover?
Data organisation and quality, sharing and permission posture, governance gaps including whether an AI use policy exists, and use case identification by role. You finish with a readiness score, a prioritised remediation list and a recommendation on who to licence first.
Are we too small for this?
If you have fewer than about ten staff, a short review is usually more appropriate than a full assessment. The value scales with how much unstructured data and how many roles you have. We will say if you are below that threshold rather than selling you the larger engagement.
Do we need this before buying Copilot?
Strongly recommended. Copilot inherits existing permissions, so an unaudited tenant means it surfaces over-shared content on day one. The assessment finds that before it becomes a problem, and it also stops you licensing roles that would get little value.
What if the answer is that we are not ready?
Then you have saved the licence cost and you have a prioritised list of what to fix, most of which is worth doing regardless of AI. Permissions cleanup, ownership and retention all improve security and search whether or not you ever deploy an AI tool.
How long does it take?
Typically one to two weeks for a small or mid-size business. The tenant review is largely remote. What sets the timeline is scheduling short conversations with people in each function, since that is where the genuinely useful use cases come from.
Will you recommend tools we already pay for?
Wherever they fit. Many businesses already hold licences with AI capability they have not enabled, and we check entitlements before recommending anything new. Buying a tool you already own is a common and entirely avoidable expense.
