The Neo is the first MacBook Apple has shipped with a 13-inch OLED panel and it does not fail the way the Retina LCD and Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED screens before it did. Bring a MacBook Neo with a damaged screen to either Dubai workshop without an appointment. Our Media City workshop is on the 10th floor of Concord Tower, where customer parking is free; our Bur Dubai workshop is in the IT Center Building on 21A Street, where parking is paid on the street with more in the BurJuman car park. Neither counter charges for the OLED inspection.
The counter is open Monday to Saturday, 09:00 until 21:00, pausing on Friday between 12:00 and 14:00 and shut on Sunday. Most screen jobs run same-day to 24 hours rather than while you wait, so the usual pattern is to drop the machine in, get the inspection findings and the price in writing, and collect the next day once the panel has been calibrated and tested.
Collection and delivery runs across Dubai and is free on larger jobs, which a full OLED panel replacement generally is. The Media City round covers DMC itself along with Internet City, Tecom, JLT, Dubai Marina, JBR, Al Sufouh, Studio City and Palm Jumeirah. The password is not optional: Apple Diagnostics cannot run on a locked machine, and without it there is no way to separate a display controller fault from a panel fault.
