What a charging port repair involves
A cable that only works at one angle is a board-level symptom.
USB-C, Thunderbolt and MagSafe 3 ports are soldered directly to the logic board. There is no modular charging daughterboard to swap on most models, which is why a great many Dubai repair shops decline the job or quote a whole board.
Three different faults produce the same behaviour. Compacted dust and pocket lint in the connector - very common here - stop the cable seating fully. A worn port has lost pin tension. A damaged charge IC will not negotiate power no matter how clean the port is. Free diagnosis tells you which of the three you have before anything is desoldered.
A packed connector is the most common cause in Dubai and the cheapest fix. We rule it out before anything else.
We desolder and replace the port itself rather than quoting a whole logic board.

The nearest metro to Concord Tower is Dubai Internet City, and there is visitor parking (first 15 minutes free, then paid) if you drive.
No appointment is needed during workshop hours, Mon-Sat 9AM-7PM, Fri break 12-2PM · Sun closed. Repairs are walk-in only: bring the device for a free diagnosis, or send photos on WhatsApp first if you want a likely cost before the trip.
Walk in, no booking
Free diagnosis at either Dubai workshop during workshop hours. We do not collect devices for repair; businesses on one of our AMC plans can hand them to the engineer on a scheduled visit.
