What a trackpad replacement involves
There is no button under the glass. It is all haptics.
Every MacBook since the 2015 redesign uses a Force Touch trackpad: no physical button, no hinge. The click you feel is a Taptic Engine firing under a pressure-sensing glass plate. That matters for diagnosis, because a cracked pad, a failed haptic module and a partly seated ribbon connector all reach the owner as the same complaint - phantom clicks, dead corners, gestures that stop registering.
It also changes the job. On most Pro and Air models the trackpad sits underneath the battery, so replacing it is a planned strip-down rather than a panel swap. We separate the three causes on the bench before any part is ordered.

The nearest metro to Concord Tower is Dubai Internet City, and there is visitor parking (first 15 minutes free, then paid) if you drive.
No appointment is needed during workshop hours, Mon-Sat 9AM-7PM, Fri break 12-2PM · Sun closed. Repairs are walk-in only: bring the device for a free diagnosis, or send photos on WhatsApp first if you want a likely cost before the trip.
Walk in, no booking
Free diagnosis at either Dubai workshop during workshop hours. We do not collect devices for repair; businesses on one of our AMC plans can hand them to the engineer on a scheduled visit.
