Storage is soldered (256 GB or 512 GB), the battery is glued to the chassis as on every recent MacBook, and the logic board is a single-sided design with the SoC and memory packaged as one.
Why this matters for repair
Soldered storage means we cannot upgrade SSD capacity later, and a corrupt SSD controller usually means a full logic board swap. Is the MacBook Neo worth repairing?
