The M4 Mac mini changed everything except the name
October 2024 brought a five-inch square chassis in place of the 7.7-inch footprint every earlier Mac mini had used, two USB-C ports and a headphone jack moved to the front, the 3nm M4 chip, and a new internal layout built around an internal power supply and a single large blower fan. Round the back sit three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1 and Gigabit Ethernet, with a 10GbE option.
Memory starts at 16GB unified, with 24GB and 32GB tiers, and storage runs from 256GB to 2TB on an Apple module keyed to the board. A new internal layout means new service procedures: different flex cables, a different fan module, a PSU that is now inside the case. We prepared for all of that before the first M4 reached UAE retail, which matters most in the first years of any redesign.

Two Mac mini workshops, both walk-in
Bring a Mac mini M4 to either Dubai workshop without an appointment. Our Media City workshop is Office 45 on the 10th floor of Concord Tower; our Bur Dubai workshop is in the IT Center Building. Both run the diagnosis free while you decide.
Workshop hours are Monday to Saturday 09:00 to 19:00, with a Friday break from 12:00 to 14:00, closed Sunday. If you run several M4 Mac minis in one office, message us first: bring them in together and we book them in as one batch with a job ticket per unit. Offices on one of our AMC plans can have the engineer take them back on the scheduled visit.
Which workshop suits you
Media City is the shorter drive from DMC, Studio City, Tecom, JLT, Dubai Marina, Internet City, JBR, Knowledge Park, DHCC and Palm Jumeirah. Bur Dubai is closer for Karama, Deira, Downtown, Business Bay and DIFC. Both take walk-ins; there is no collection service for repairs.

The Mac mini and its power cable. If the symptom is a port or display fault, bring the cable, dock or drive you use with it so the diagnosis reproduces your setup rather than ours. No box or receipt needed. If the unit still boots, back it up first; hardware work should never be the first time your data is copied.
