What an enterprise deployment involves

The survey is the deliverable. The access points are just hardware.

Anyone can mount access points. What decides whether an enterprise network works is the part that happens before that: a site survey and heat map that account for the actual building - blockwork, glass partitions, lift shafts, mezzanine steel - and a channel plan that does not fight the tenant on the floor above.

In Dubai there is a second layer. Deployments have to satisfy TDRA telecommunications regulations, and each free zone authority has its own cabling and contractor rules. DIFC, ADGM, DMCC, JAFZA and Media City do not run the same permit process, and getting that wrong stops an installation more reliably than any technical problem.

  • Coverage is designed against the real building rather than estimated from a floor plan.

Enterprise-Grade Access Points

We deploy Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti UniFi, Aruba Instant On, and TP-Link Omada access points - selecting the right hardware for your density, coverage area, and budget. Every AP is ceiling or wall-mounted with clean cabling.

  • Cisco Meraki MR46-E for cloud-managed enterprise offices
  • Ubiquiti UniFi U6 Pro and U7 Pro for cost-effective scalability
  • Aruba HPE AP-635 Instant On for SMBs and mid-market
  • TP-Link Omada EAP670 for budget-conscious deployments
  • FortiGate 60F or 80F firewall paired with FortiAP for security-first scope

Site Survey & Heat-Map Planning

Azizi Technologies runs a full RF site survey before any AP is installed. Before installing a single access point, our engineers conduct a full RF site survey using Ekahau Sidekick or NetAlly AirMagnet. We generate heat maps showing signal strength, interference sources, and optimal AP placement - eliminating guesswork and guaranteeing coverage across glass-partitioned offices, gypsum-walled meeting rooms, and concrete-cored DMC towers.

TDRA Compliance & Free Zone Permits

Every enterprise WiFi install at Azizi Technologies is TDRA-compliant per UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority requirements - certified 802.11 channel use, captive portal logging where guest WiFi is offered, 12-month log retention, and EmiratesID / passport / SMS-OTP guest authentication. We submit and clear Free Zone cabling permits (DIFC, ADGM, DMCC, JAFZA, DAFZA) as standard scope at no extra cost. 500+ permits successfully approved since 2007.

VLAN Segmentation & Compliance Logging

Standard 4-VLAN architecture: staff (full access), guest (isolated, internet only), IoT (printers, smart TVs, cameras), management (admin and infrastructure). Compromised guest devices cannot reach staff workstations. Critical for DIFC banks, ADGM funds, MOHAP healthcare clinics, and PCI-DSS retail tenants. RADIUS-backed 802.1X authentication for staff WiFi with Active Directory or Azure AD integration.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about Enterprise WiFi Installation in Dubai from the Azizi Technologies team.

How much does enterprise WiFi installation cost in Dubai?
It depends on user count, floor area, access point count and cabling. A small office needs up to 10 APs, while 50-user offices and 200-500 user sites need a fuller design, so every deployment is quoted after a site survey, with cabling included in the quote.
Which WiFi brand do you recommend for offices?
For most Dubai offices, we recommend Ubiquiti UniFi U6 Pro for value or Cisco Meraki MR46-E for enterprise management. Aruba HPE AP-635 InstantOn for mid-market. FortiGate 60F or 80F firewall plus FortiAP for security-first scope. The best choice depends on your scale, compliance scope, and IT team.
Do you offer WiFi maintenance after installation?
Yes - we offer WiFi AMC plans including monitoring, firmware updates, priority support, and a 4-hour on-site response during opening hours for AMC clients across Media City, JLT, Marina, Palm and Bur Dubai.
Do you handle DIFC and ADGM enterprise WiFi compliance?
Yes - audit-trail logging, VLAN segmentation, MFA-protected admin access, and 90-day log retention are standard scope for any DIFC or ADGM regulated firm. TDRA-compliant captive portal with 12-month log retention included. Quoted with the install.
Can you scale the network as we grow?
Yes - controller-managed deployments (UniFi Network, Meraki Dashboard, Aruba Central) allow adding APs to existing network with zero reconfiguration. Standard part of every Azizi Technologies enterprise WiFi design.
Is the install TDRA-compliant for guest WiFi?
Yes - per TDRA (UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority) regulations, guest WiFi must authenticate every visitor (EmiratesID, passport, or SMS-OTP), retain access logs for 12 months minimum, and apply UAE content filtering. All four boxes are ticked by the standard captive portal we deploy on Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco Meraki, or Aruba ClearPass.
How long does enterprise WiFi installation take in Dubai?
Small office (5-25 users): 1-2 days including cabling, AP install, controller config and testing. Mid-office (25-75 users): 3-5 working days. Large office (75-200 users): 1-2 weeks scheduled outside business hours. Enterprise (200-500 users): 2-6 weeks with phased cutover and Free Zone permit windows.
Do you also handle structured cabling and switches?
Yes - turnkey scope. Cat 6 or Cat 6a structured cabling from each AP back to a central rack (Fluke DSX-5000 certified), managed PoE+ switches (Ubiquiti USW Pro 24 PoE, Cisco Catalyst, Aruba CX 6000), next-gen firewall (FortiGate, Cisco Meraki MX, SonicWall, Palo Alto), and ISP modem bridge mode setup with Etisalat e& or du fiber circuits.
