ASUS ROG Overheating Fix

ROG laptops, especially the Zephyrus G14 and G16 with AMD Ryzen + Nvidia GPU combinations, are known for running warm given their thin chassis and high TDP. The Zephyrus G14 in particular has a compact form factor that leaves limited thermal headroom. We repaste CPU and GPU and replace the GPU VRAM thermal pads that commonly dry and separate on ROG laptops after 2–3 years. Temperature improvement of 8–15 °C is typical, often eliminating throttling entirely on Zephyrus models.

The Zephyrus G14 uses an unusual 16:10 aspect-ratio QHD panel (2560×1600) that is distinct from the more common 16:9 FHD and QHD laptop panels. This panel must be sourced specifically for the G14, as a standard QHD panel will not fit.
